CJS Weekly is the longest running and most widely known of our publications. This is the original CJS established in July 1994 as a specialist newsletter for countryside rangers, but in the years that followed both the range of jobs and our readership have increased markedly.
CJS Weekly averages around 100 new paid UK vacancies each week and ⅓ to ½ (49.6% of all 2007 vacancies) are sent direct from the employer, many of which are not advertised anywhere else, in fact during 2006 25% of adverts placed direct with CJS did not appear anywhere else. The remainder are sourced from national newspapers and specialist publications as well as national Government agency websites. CJS is the only publication which contains a digest of vacancies reviewed from other sources. For recent job numbers please see News Releases or read our blog. Posts advertised are based across the country, we also include any overseas posts sent direct from the employer but we do not review publications to include these as part of the regular content.
The most recent edition of CJS Weekly was published on Monday 8 March and contained details of 56 new, not previously advertised, paid UK vacancies, 45 sent direct to CJS.
CJS Weekly includes more than just vacancies, there is also information about volunteer opportunities, New Deal and other training placements, short training courses and events as well as details of any news relevant to the industry. What sort of jobs does CJS advertise? click here
