Norfolk Wildlife Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of Norfolk Wildlife Trust undertaking environmental consultancy work with a county and regional focus.

We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Ecological Consultant to work alongside a small team of 6 other specialist staff.

They will support the work of others in the team, including line management of two ecologists, as well as providing their technical expertise to manage contracts and advise clients. The individual will help to develop the business in areas such as ecological impact assessment, land management and protected species, and will be given a high degree of flexibility to develop their own business initiatives.    Specialist knowledge and experience in one or more areas of ecological consultancy would be advantageous.

The role would suit someone seeking to step up into a more senior management role or transfer to a wildlife-orientated business environment.  The role is based within NWT offices in Norwich.

For more information go to NWT’s website www.norfolkwildlifetrust.org.uk or send an A4 SAE (79p stamp) to Jen Palmer, Norfolk Wildlife Trust, Bewick House, 22 Thorpe Road, Norwich, NR1 1RY

Closing date for applications is 12 noon 18 March 2010

Interviews will take place in Norwich on 25 March 2010
