An abbreviated CJS Annual Review for 2010
Until 2005 CJS published an annual review of vacancies advertised the previous year, as adverts included less information directing applicant to website it became apparent that the full Review was no longer providing the full picture and it was decided to discontinue its publication. Since then we have kept basic details of vacancies for in house use.
2010 analysis of vacancies advertised by Countryside Jobs Service
Is a report on these basic details, with comparisons of the types of posts adverts, the employers, geographic location of the vacancies as well as contract type and length.
During 2010 CJS advertised 2588 new, not previously advertised paid posts. This is a decrease of 1089 vacancies from 2009 and is almost entirely within the public sector, in 2009 we advertised 1802 public sector posts during 2010 this fell by 1134 to 675.
To read the full analysis, two pages. Download the PDF from: http://www.countryside-jobs.com/Jobs/2010analysis.pdf
