We are publishing our first Focus on Countryside Management in August. Although countryside management is at the heart of everything CJS does we have not featured it in CJS Focus before and are looking forward to this edition with the expectation that it will be one of the best we have produced. The supplements started in 2004 and all are still online as an information resource for our readers. People contacting CJS for advice are regularly directed to have a look at past editions especially if one area is of particular interest.

Although CJS Focus will not include jobs or voluntary positions (you can use CJS Weekly free advertising for these) it will include companies selling all things countryside and conservation related. Organisations and charities working within countryside management may have schemes, information, grants or projects that will be of interest to other people working in similar fields. There are membership bodies for the industry, including CMA and SCRA, each providing an online forum as well as others all of which offer advice and guidance but it would be useful to have a document that pulls together experience, expertise and resources in one handy document saving time in searching several different locations.
